  Went for dinner. Ordered seafood plate : battered fish, crumbed callimari, & tempura prawns with chips. It was huge meal & I had to ask for doggy bag. Food was excellent. They also have salad/ vegetable bar too. Service was very good.

  Every staff member from reception to the cleaner was friendly and helpful. Nothing was a hassle for this team.

  Room was ok. No real issues. I bought some noodles from the shop to make for my dinner but when I got there, there weren't any bowls. I compromised and just put the boiling water in the packet of noodles. Then when I went to grab a fork to eat with, there were only spoons. So I ate noodles from the packet with a spoon. If you're just using it as a spot to overcome your drunkenness then it's definitely a go. I didn't have an extended stay, only overnight and checked out at 6am, but it seemed alright. I guess you get what you pay for and on short notice was the most appealing on paper. Didn't get to taste the food so can't comment on the quality or service.

  The food was excellent, the room was fantastic value. Even if the rooms were upstairs, proving to be a challange with a broken foot.

  Service was satisfactory, about what one would expect for this kind of hotel/pub sort of place. The decor was broadly acceptable, though the visibility of the gambling machines was tacky. Buffet salad table was tasty. Food was good, though about typical for a pub fare. This place is one of the many hotel/pubs pretending to be fancier than they actually are. I'll never really accept upwards of $20 for a schnitzel at a place like this, but at least it wasn't pathetically tiny.
